Tri-Sports Youth Sports Field Campuses

Tri-Sports maintains, manages, and operates all of the green space and field space at three campuses.

West University
Elementary School

  • 7 youth sports fields on 6 acres: 4 baseball fields (2 of which convert to soccer fields in the fall) and 3 softball fields (all of which convert to soccer fields in the fall)

  • All field improvements on this campus—from field lights to fences, backstops, and dugouts—were paid for and installed by Tri-Sports, and much of the work was done twice, as one baseball field and one softball field had to be reconstructed in 2008 following completion of significant construction work at the school.

West University
Recreation Center

  • 2 youth sports fields on 2 acres: both fields are used for baseball in the spring and for soccer in the fall

  • All field construction and improvements on this campus were paid for and completed by Tri-Sports, other than the field lights. Tri-Sports covered field grading, dirt work, turf, irrigation, fences, backstops, dugouts, and safety netting.

Pershing Middle School

  • 3 youth sports fields on 5 acres: 1 junior baseball field, 1 softball field, and 1 full-size soccer field, which may be converted to 3 short-sided fields as needed

  • All field improvements on this campus were paid for and installed by Tri-Sports, and in fact such work was accomplished twice—once in 1987 when those field were originally developed, and again in 2009 when those fields were relocated and rebuilt following the reconstruction of the new school.
